Education
Cathal's education started in an electronics genre, and later developed into a series of computer science qualifications. Having spent a number of years in college in Dublin, Cathal was awarded an Electronic Techinician Certificate (WRCE), a Diploma in Computer Science (WMT), a Diploma in Applied Science: Computer Science and Software Engineering (WSAD) from Dublin Institute of Technology, Kevin Street.
Cathal was also awarded an Honours Degree in Applied Science: Computer Science and Software Engineering from Trinity College, Dublin. He hopes to further his education by participating in a post graduate programme in the near future.
Cathal has also participated in a number of formal training programs throughout his career including Oracle database administration, Rational ClearCase administration, and development language course of varying degrees in competence. Also, Cathal is self-taught in various development & scripting languages, operating systems and publishing & productivity applications.
