Clare fail against Galway

Not a good weekend for Clare, who have put in yet another poor performance, this time against Galway. Daithi O’Connell’s last minute goal undeservedly gave Clare a respectable score line, of which not much was from play. Serious gaps existed in the midfield, with Colin Lynch doing the best he could. Worryingly no changes were made at half time, which seemed to confuse and irate many fans in the stands.

What next? Well after a poor performance against Laois, Dublin and Galway, it’s hard to say. It’s early days yet, in the season, but drastic improvements are needed for the final games of the league. Time will tell, as we’re set to take on All Ireland semi-finalists and Munster champions in the next few games.
