I, and others, have been getting a “Content Encoding Error” message with the text “The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression” in Firefox 3 (beta versions and RC1).
I didn’t investigate the cause, but a simple workaround is to disable the Firefox cache and re-visit the site. Not ideal, but it’ll get you by.

Listening to a piece on Newstalk about the barrier-free M50 tolling, I decided to lookup http://nra.ie. However, as with a lot of sites still (in this day in age, yada yada), that address doesn’t work, and you need to use www.nra.ie.
However, if you visit the former, you’ll be prompted for a username/password for bfcnet.into.ie. www.into.ie is the website of the INTO (Irish National Teachers Organisation).
Sites not working unless you use the www. are annoying enough, but sites that use the root domain (nra.ie in this case) to point to a non-public website, or a website of a different meaning altogether are far more annoying.
Both are hosted with Novara (now a part of Digiweb), but I’m not sure who is responsible for the sites.
If you’re being driven close to insanity by the error message “Untrusted software found” when inserting your memory card, or rebooting your phone, then there’s 1 tip that might help! My Nokia e61i Series 60 (s60) phone was giving me this message after I’d installed a few different applications. Rather than go and uninstall all my applications from the App Manager, I tried just the last 2 or 3 I’d installed, but to no avail.
